The Lindsay Construction Cup Invitational highlights the annual Atlantic Grand Circuit Week at Truro Raceway each July.
Featuring the fastest aged pacers in Atlantic Canada, the Lindsay Construction Cup Invitational serves as a strategic prep race for the Gold Cup and Saucer held in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island in August.
In the 2020 edition, Cape Breton’s Neil MacInnis steered Yankee Osborn to the early lead and simply never looked back in the seven-horse affair. The gelding sped through fractions of :28, :56 and 1:24.1 before kicking home in :27.4 to win by a length over Simple Kinda Man in 1:52 – the fastest mile in the history of Truro Raceway.
The premiere, invite-only race is proudly sponsored by Lindsay Construction, Atlantic Canada’s most trusted partner for building projects of all sizes and types.
